The President of Civil Aviation honors the Aviation saftey Department
The President of Civil Aviation, H.E. Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Homoud Al-Sabah stressed on the need to pay attention to the human element as a major and essential factor in the development of work and the improvement of public performance of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. In a ceremony held to honour the staff of the Aviation Safety Department on the occasion of Kuwait International Airport's achievement of record standards in air safety standards, H.E. Sheikh Salman Al-Sabah stated that the State of Kuwait emphasizes great importance towards the infrastructure development of air transport sector in Kuwait. Furthermore, H.E. the President of Civil Aviation specified the importance of keeping abreast with the developments in the civil aviation industry in terms of regulations and laws issued by international organizations in this regard. In closing, H.E. Sheikh Salman Al-Sabah urged the need to work with team spirit because institutional work will achieve long-term results while individual work will fade in a short-term, not producing any positive results. The ceremony was attended by the Director General of Civil Aviation - Eng. Yousef S. Al-Fouzan, Deputy Director General for Aviation Safety and Air Transport Affairs - Eng. Emad F. Al-Jluwi, Deputy Director General for Kuwait International Airport Affairs - Eng. Fahad S. Al-Woqayan, Deputy Director General for Administrative Affairs and Finance Affairs and Legal Affairs - Mr. Ahmed Al-Qaoud and other officials of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
