DGCA holds training on rescue operations for airplane crash

Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) held a training on rescue missions for airplane crash outside Kuwait International Airport on Monday. The directorate is continuously developing its safety and security measures, as well as standards for search and rescue operations, DGCA President Sheikh Salman Al-Homoud Al-Sabah said in a press statement. Meanwhile, DGCA said that the training is part of its emergency plan, aiming to boost the skills of all bodies in charge of rescue missions. It added that the training was executed in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Defense, Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD), Ministry of Health, Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), Kuwait Airways, Kuwait General Administration of Customsآ and Wataniya Airways.
