Kuwait inks open skies treaty with Cyprus
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) inked on Wednesday an open skies' agreement with Cyprus. DGCA press release said the accord stipulates free passenger and cargo flights, where airline companies are entitled to organize an unlimited number of flights between the two countries. The accord covers various other issues related to security and navigation. Abdullah Al-Rajehi, the DGCA air transport monitor, said the agreement is part of the approach to broaden cooperation between Kuwait International Airport and other nations' air facilities. Moreover, it is part of the tendency to establish greater cooperation with European countries, in general, in the foreseeable future
