Kuwait Airways Signs an Agreement with (Korean Incheon) to Operate from Passengers Terminal (T4)

Kuwait Airways signed a five-year agreement with the Korean Incheon Airport Corporation to operate and upgrade the level of service at the new Passenger Terminal (T4). In a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the Chairman of Kuwait Airways - Mr. Yousef Al-Jassim said that by signing this agreement Kuwait Airways will be able to operate all flights heading to the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, effective from Sunday 30 th September 2018 through several daily flights ranging from 26 to 34 round trips. Mr. Al-Jassim explained that the contract is for five years and includes operating Kuwait Airways flights, and this will be through gradual incremental process in coordination with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. For his part, the Director-General of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation - Eng. Yousef Al-Fouzan said, in a similar press statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), that Kuwait Airways has progressed successfully to the second phase of operating Passengers Terminal (T4), which has encompassed all the destinations of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. He pointed out that operating passengers’ terminals anywhere in the world would require a period of 12 to 24 months to reach full operation, yet the Directorate General of Civil Aviation was able to operate the Terminal gradually within a short period as per the international standards. He praised the enormous and constructive collaboration with the Ministry of the Interior, General Department for Customs and staff of Kuwait Airways, which led to the successful gradual operation of Passengers Terminal (T4).
